Solefield visits the Olympics

The whole of Solefield School made a once in a lifetime trip to see the Olympic Park on Thursday 19th January 2012. With every student and member of staff going on the trip, the school drove in three double decker coaches, leaving from the school in Solefields Road, Sevenoaks going into Stratford, East London.

A Year 3 student was interviewed the following morning on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, BBC Radio 2, to relay his experience of what he did for the first time ever, “My favourite bit was the Orbit; the big red sculpture that is 115m tall!” tells the eight-year old to Chris Evans.
