Dyslexia Awareness Week

Mrs Glennon-Cousins, Head of Learning Development

7th October 2020

Dyslexia Awareness Week and No Pens Wednesday reminded the boys that there are different ways to share their knowledge that do not solely rely on writing. Boys from Reception to Year 8 had lots of fun completing lessons from practising letter formation in sand trays to cubic conundrums in Maths investigations. It was wonderful watching the creativity, problem-solving and speaking and listening skills that were used in all lessons, as well as giving the boys an opportunity to talk about their own individual strengths and talents.

This Year 4 goup engaged in an important discussion in Religious Studies on how to care for our world.  They reflected on and discussed ways in which each of us can make a difference!
