Yet again Solefield scored 100% pass rate at 11+. This followed on from our seventh year in a row with 100% success at Common Entrance. Well done to the boys involved.
Welcome to Solefield School
…where small really is beautiful. We are a day-preparatory school for around 180 boys aged 4 to 13 years. We unashamedly focus on the individual, gaining the most out of each and every boy, no matter what their talents or interests. Our warm, inviting atmosphere is our hallmark as well as our pride and joy.
"We have small class sizes"
We place a great emphasis on the 3R's, Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic for younger pupils, moving to a broader curriculum for our upper students. Our record at 11+ (100% pass rate) and Common Entrance (100% pass rate) is outstanding and we continue to gain places at leading grammar schools, as well as a high number of scholarships at thirteen.
“The overall achievements of the pupils are excellent”
In our recent ISI Inspection Report, 2011, we scored exceptionally well in every area throughout the School, from Early Years to the Senior School. This reflects the excellent quality of the education from a boy's first steps at Solefield to his final day at the School. All this is done within a spirit of adventure by our outstanding staff that constantly seek to give your son the opportunity to shine. Boys leave us confident, self-reliant and with a respect for others.
My wife, Rosalind, and our two sons, Max and Alfie, are integral parts of this family school.
“I would love to meet you and personally show you around.”
Please contact us to arrange a visit or to request a full prospectus. Whether you are a current parent, prospective parent, pupil or old boy, I hope you will take the time to visit us and learn more about our wonderful school.
