Well done to Arthur H (Rec) for his excellent progress made in Mandarin Chinese for this term's Solefield Independent Project, based on PASSIONS.
Arthur is studying Mandarin Chinese with his friends at Chinese school. He is learning to write some characters in Mandarin, known as han zi (汉字). So far, he has learnt characters for words such as 'Wood' (木), 'Person' (人), 'Mountain' (山), 'Water' (水) and 'Cat' (猫). He is very proud of his achievement. Well done Arthur!
If your child would still like to take part, they can draw, make models or animations, write fact files, stories, film scripts and poems or anything else they choose, all about one of their passions.
Any project work should be given to Mrs McClure, please, by the end of this term.
