We offer before and after school care during term time from 7.30am until 6.00pm
For those not attending Breakfast Club, school is open for all boys from 8.00am, with registration at 8.25am. Regular morning assemblies may consist of music, or a presentation by form classes, a member of staff, or a Year 8 boy. Lunch is a substantial meal prepared by our caterers, Holroyd Howe in the school kitchens.
Boys in Reception finish at 3.00pm and Years 1 and 2 at 3.15pm. To assist parents, there is a late class for Pre-Prep boys (Reception-Year 2) until 3.55pm. In Years 3-8, everyone finishes at 3.55pm, subject to their school commitments such as matches. Boys who remain after school to attend clubs or wrap around care will be provided with a drink and some light refreshments.
Boys in Year 8 are expected to remain at school until 5.20pm to complete their prep, supervised by a member of staff. On Saturday, boys in Year 8 attend school from 9.00am-11.00am, where they are able to study one of their core subjects in more detail. In the run up to exams, this provides useful study time.
Very occasionally there are school matches and sports training for selected boys on Saturdays; all boys selected are expected to represent the school. In order to help families plan in advance, an online school calendar is available to all parents before the start of every term.
