Well done to our football finalists

Last Saturday, 22 November, was a busy day as we faced some brilliant football teams. The Solefield spirit and fight shone through, with our boys earning a place in the top eight of the competition.

Fifteen years ago, it was both the school's and my dream to take a Solefield team to the IAPS finals. After coming so close in previous years, we always believed it was something we could achieve.

This year’s team have worked so hard and thoroughly deserved their place among the best prep schools in the country. Although we bowed out in the quarter finals, finishing in the top eight prep schools nationwide is an incredible achievement.

I could not be prouder of the boys this season - this is a memory that will live long with me, the school and, I am sure, the boys themselves.

Congratulations once again boys!
