U10 Netball vs Wally Hall
It was a lovely afternoon of netball against Wally Hall, with many of our girls enjoying the chance to see old friends and teachers once again. The B team played some competitive netball against the Wally U10s, showing great determination throughout. Excellent defensive work from Minty earned her Player of the Match.
The A team faced Wally’s U11s and were in fine form, putting into practice what they’ve been learning in training including high-release passing and using two moves to get free. It was a true team performance, with Leonie shooting brilliantly to earn herself Player of the Match.
Swim Gala vs Somerhill
It was fantastic to be back in the pool for our gala against Somerhill, with several pupils making their first competitive swimming appearances. Solefield swam their hearts out, showing brilliant determination and team spirit throughout.
Every race was contested with great effort and enthusiasm, and the encouragement between teammates was wonderful to see. There were some superb individual performances from Horaan, Leonie, Mark, and Michael, who all swam with real focus and energy.
