Forest School 

Our pupils have been loving the new Forest School site!

The Year 1s were busy making apple bird feeders to help our winter birds. They have been looking at the habits of blackbirds and robins. Little fingers had a good workout, pushing seeds into the apples, and creating a perch to help the birds stop and snack. There was plenty of lively debate and discussion about the perfect place to hang their creations!

Afterwards, the children used their science skills to write up their method and reflect on what they liked most about their design. A fantastic blend of creativity, care for nature and outdoor learning! The Year 1s were busy making apple bird feeders to help our winter birds.
