This week, a group of Year 4 Solefield pupils attended a chess meet at Radnor House. The event was designed not as a competitive fixture, but as an opportunity for pupils to gain valuable experience playing chess in a formal setting.
For many of the students, this was their first time playing at another school, and they represented Solefield admirably throughout the afternoon. We are very grateful to Radnor House for hosting.
