Year 4 spent a beautiful day visiting Knole House and Park on Wednesday.
We handled objects used in the house and went for a tour of the house. We discovered secret doors, portraits and found lots of spotted leopards - they are the symbol of the Sackville family.
The afternoon was spent dressing up as Tudors and in the park, running like deer and working out how old the trees were. We even found a tree that Henry VIII might have seen when he visited Knole over 500 years ago!
