Author Day at Solefield

On Monday 28 September, we were delighted to host our first Author Day of the new term, welcoming authors and illustrators to inspire pupils from Reception through to Year 8.

Our Pre-Prep pupils enjoyed engaging sessions with author and illustrator Rochelle Falconer, while Years 3 and 4 were entertained by Ryan Crawford and Rochelle Falconer, creators of the exciting Cosmic Cadets series.

For pupils in Years 5 to 8, acclaimed children's author Phil Earle delivered a lively and entertaining presentation, sharing insights into his writing and bringing stories to life.

The day was a wonderful celebration of reading, creativity and imagination, and pupils thoroughly enjoyed meeting the authors and having their books signed.
