Thomas - ICT Prefect & Joe - Head Chorister

4th June 2021

What have you done in your role as a Prefect?

Thomas - I help out Mr Fenning with the school iPads, cleaning them up by deleting old apps or removing photos.
Joe - I sung the 'Once in Royal David's City' solo at the Christmas Service. It was a little different this year being recorded wtih parents watching it from home rather than singing it live in the church.

How has your role changed during Covid?

Thomas - ICT has become really important during Covid with so much being online and events being recorded, so it's quite nice to be the ICT prefect.
Joe - There has been a lot less group singing, but I am pleased that we are now starting to sing more in groups, which I really enjoy.

How did you feel about being chosen as a Prefect?

Thomas - Of all the prefect roles, ICT would have been the one I would choose, because I really enjoy ICT.
Joe - Throughout Solefield I have sung in the choirs, so it's been really nice to have been chosen as the Head Chorister.

What do you enjoy about your role as a Prefect?

Thomas - I have been really enjoying being part of filming the school with Mr Coston and other Year 8s. We are currently filming the school from the perspective of a Solefield Old Boy, who returns and does a tour around the school.
Joe - I am really looking forward to performing in the upcoming Summer Concert and have been enjoying singing more together in a group.
