There is a growing number of vegetarian pupils at Solefield so the Food Committee has invited Aryan in 4R to join as our newly appointed Vegetarian Food Rep.
This is in response to our anonymous survey to parents.
Aryan has always been a vegetarian and really enjoyed eating tasty vegetarian food. He really relished trying new vegetarian dishes on his family’s recent trip to India but explained that Indian food often takes a long time to prepare and cook.
Aryan is already full of ideas of vegetarian dishes that he and the other vegetarian pupils would enjoy including vegetarian bolognaise, meat free sausages and macaroni cheese. The Food Committee is meeting next week and we look forward to welcoming Aryan and hearing his ideas to help us to continue to improve our lunches. He is a welcome member of our Food Committee.
