Next week, the boys will be participating in our annual STEM Week.
This year, to coincide with our 75th celebrations and to pay tribute to one of first Heads, the theme will be ‘Flight’.
It will be an action-packed and fun-filled week as the boys have a wide range of talks, workshops, visits, competitions, activities, shows and assemblies to enjoy.
Flight highlights to look out for include:
- Trips to Biggin Hill Airport (especially visiting the Heritage Hangar where the Spitfires are housed)
- Drone Flying
- Whole School Paper Plane Competition
- Flight Simulators
- Flight Club (darts competition)
- Gyrocopters
- Y7 and Y8 STEM Fair
In addition, other STEM-related activities will also be happening:
- Trips to Sevenoaks School for an Energy Show, a Space Show and a Robotics Workshop
- Professor Bubbles workshops
