Last week in our French lessons we explored Africa. We looked at where French is spoken as an official language in Africa. We read a traditional tale from Senegal and explored music from Central Africa with a song celebrating mums around the world.
We celebrated the International Day of La Francophonie on Monday with a lunch inspired by African flavours, including a delicious lamb tagine and couscous.
I think all the boys were surprised to see how many countries in Africa speak French!
