On Wednesday 21 January, the year 4's had a wonderful time at the Science Museum in London.
The students enjoyed immersive, hands-on, and inspiring experiences including water drop photography, understanding sound waves and one of the main highlights; the frication slides in the Wonder lab. Our trip brought our topic of forces to life, with the students testing many theories: which shape/plane is the best for a wind tunnel? How do figure skaters not fall over when they spin at great speed?
They had fun challenging each other on the pulley seat, seeing who could lift themselves to the top first as well as having some explosive experiments at the chemistry display lead by the one of the Wonder lab explainers. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.
