Boys are identified for extension in a variety of areas through analysis of standardised testing data, staff input, their performance in class and parental opinion. Extension activities are specified on lesson plans and boys attend extra lessons and activities to challenge and stimulate them. We also have recently appointed extension tutors who stretch them within lessons. An Able Coordinator oversees their progress and meets with them very regularly, also working closely with their teachers and parents. Teaching assistants support and extend at all ages and we have a variety of clubs and visits that stimulate pupils.

We are members of the National Association for Able Children in Education.
